清乾隆年间，日春先祖王仕让偶然发现一棵迥异茶树，采制成茶后将其进献给乾隆皇帝，皇帝饮后大为赞赏，遂赐名“铁观音”。此后，王氏后人秉承“谦礼理真”的家族祖训，世代承袭铁观音制茶技艺。改革开放后，王仕让第八代孙王木杞创办了南山茶叶加工厂。2008年，第九代孙改制成日春股份公司。

在承袭祖辈制茶技艺的基础上，日春股份公司始终在探索一条铁观音标准化之路：先后与北京大学、武夷学院、福建农林大学安溪茶学院合作建立了 3个铁观音科研基地，从中提取了铁观音种植和制作标准，并建立了产品可溯源体系来管控食品安全。此外，公司每年还定期举办茶王赛，激励制茶工艺的精进与发展，在源头上实现了茶园的标准化运作；为了使生产标准化，公司建造了无二次污染车间，引进国际食品生产线，斥巨资建立了实验室。2013年，日春还参与制定乌龙茶生产制作国家标准，一举成为业界标准生产的典范。2008年，日春股份公司成立了“日春管理学院”，建立了标准化的培训体系，为茶行业培养了大批优秀人才。

On the basis of inheriting the ancestral tea making technology, Richun Co., Ltd. has always been exploring a road of Tieguanyin Standardization: it has successively established three Tieguanyin research bases in cooperation with Peking University, Wuyi college and Anxi Tea College of Fujian agricultural and Forestry University, from which Tieguanyin planting and production standards have been extracted, and a product traceability system has been established to control food safety. In addition, the company also holds tea king competition on a regular basis every year to encourage the advancement and development of tea making technology and realize the standardized operation of the tea garden at the source; in order to standardize the production, the company has built a workshop free of secondary pollution, introduced international food production lines, and invested heavily in the establishment of the laboratory. In 2013, Richun also participated in the formulation of the national standard for the production of Oolong tea, which became a model for the standard production in the industry. In 2008, Richun Co., Ltd. established "Richun Management College", established a standardized training system, and trained a large number of outstanding talents for the tea industry.
