1988年厦门灿坤实业股份有限公司在厦门注册成立。注册资本18539.1680万人民币。秉持集团"纵使明天地球会毁灭,灿坤今天依然会种下两颗葡萄:"研究发展、教育训练"的经营哲学,公司快速成长。1993年公司改制成功,成为国内第一家B股上市的外商独资企业,同年成为福建省首家通过ISO-9002质量体系认证的企业。1999年被认定为厦门市高新技术企业。至1999年底,公司资产由90万美元增至15784万美元,厂房面积从10000平方米扩至77000平方米,员工人数由60多人增至逾7000人,营业额更是由当年的60万美元提升至20400万美元,2000年的达25000万美元。

在公司三大主打产品(煎烤器、电熨斗、咖啡壶)中,煎烤器,电熨斗均名列世界单厂产量第一。伴随着公司的迅速发展,为系统地培养公司发展所需要的人才,1994年5月,厦门灿坤公司更开创福建省企业办学之先河,率先创办了"灿坤学院",为灿坤集团培养S.S.S(SuperSupportStaff)专业人才。十年来已培训一千多名技术管理骨干。

在厦门灿坤高速发展下,生产规模不断壮大,原有厂房无法满足生产需要。2002年9月,灿坤集团投资1.2亿美元(其中注册资本为4000万美元),于漳州角美龙池开发区成立了漳州灿坤实业有限公司,漳州灿坤实业有限公司是灿坤集团世界工厂发展战略下的小家电新型制造基地,主要生产、销售电熨斗、煎烤器、咖啡壶、微波炉、健康商品和马达产品。占地面积达160万平方米,其中建筑面积70万平方米。一期工程2003年3月竣工投产,全部工程建设于2006年完成。目前公司员工有18000人。2004年营业额5.1亿美元,2005年营业额6.7亿美元。预计到2008年,年产值可达8亿美元以上。

In 1988, Xiamen cankun Industrial Co., Ltd. was registered in Xiamen. The registered capital is RMB 185 million 391 thousand and 680. 德国大众汽车集团2024年净利润同比下降30.6%
