蓝卡潞，前身是“福州显昌电子有限公司”，成立于1992年，生产无线电遥控产品。1993年开始，公司拥有模具制造和注塑成型能力。到1996年，公司产品的销售范围已覆盖世界各地，规模迅速扩大。

2003年公司涉足汽车模具与汽车零部件制造业。2004年11月，汽车模具与汽车零部件制造业务剥离出原公司，另立“福州显昌汽车配件有限公司”，该公司以汽车模具制造为主，同时供应汽车塑料零部件。

2010年起，蓝卡潞先后成立了南京分公司、杭州分公司、镇江分公司、海宁子公司、苏州子公司，并收购了一家模具皮纹蚀刻厂。从此蓝卡潞成为福建省模具行业的领军企业，拥有一批大型客户，如汽车制造集团，大型汽车零部件集团，大型电器集团等。

蓝卡潞LED照明产业于2011年4月正式启动，同年9月入股广东倍森电子科技有限公司，生产LED照明器材。

2013年7月，蓝卡潞与中国科学院合资成立了“福建中科蓝卡潞科技有限公司”，双方确定了LED照明产业的战略合作关系。从此，中国科学院的“LED透明荧光陶瓷封装技术”便由“福建中科蓝卡潞科技有限公司”首先应用并推向市场。凭借中科院的先导技术，蓝卡潞的LED照明产品在市场上显示出超凡的性能优势和质量优势。
