公司座落于风景秀丽、有天然氧吧之称的江西省靖安县工业园区，占地面积373亩。

江钨合金公司是江钨集团公司“由钨资源向钨制品深加工”战略发展的企业，计划建设规模为年产高性能硬质合金产品3000吨，项目总投资7.7亿元。整个项目分二期建设，其中，建设投资4.9亿元，一期工程投资1.87亿元，于2006年11月动工兴建，2007年11月竣工并投入试生产，拉通硬质合金工艺生产线，硬质合金生产能力达1700吨/年；二期工程数控涂层刀片项目2010年7月开工建设，2013年产能已达到1000万片。江钨合金公司由此完成了转型升级。

江钨合金公司主要从事高性能的硬质合金、混合料及各类合金制品的研发生产和销售，生产产品：主要有六大类85个牌号约7540种规格的硬质合金产品，其中：商品混合料共40种规格，标准焊接切削刀片共3000种规格，数控（涂层）刀片共2500种规格，挤压及模压型材共1100种规格，地矿工具球齿共400种规格，拉拔模具及非标异性件共500种规格。

江钨合金公司拥有一支技术雄厚、年富力强的研发团队。公司目前员工总数356人，其中，生产研发人员279人，大专以上学历人员103人，硕士4人，博士2人。公司设有产品研发和检测中心，为公司发展提供强有力的技术支撑，并通过多年的努力，已取得显著的研发成果，累计获得专利授权20项，含有：发明专利11项，实用新型专利9项。
