公司以中南大学所拥有的目前国内出色的锂离子电池材料科技成果与成熟的工业化生产技术为支撑，与众多大学合作成立养大中心及工作站，旨在建设具有国际水平的锂电池材料研发机构，成为引进和培养行业技术人才及孵化高新技术成果的平台和基地，从而实现产、学、研的结合。

公司依托阿坝州丰富的锂辉石矿产资源、基础锂盐资源和水电资源优势，计划投资2.5亿元建设10000吨锂电池正极材料项目。经过两期的项目建设，已建成5000吨/年磷酸亚铁锂专业化生产项目，形成磷酸亚铁锂、镍钴锰酸锂两大系类等10种产品，项目全部建成达产后产值将具有显著的经济效益和社会效益。
