浙江荣晟环保纸业股份有限公司前身平湖造纸厂创建于1980年，经1998年企业改制，2004年完成股份制改革。公司经过多年发展，主业已形成造纸、热电联产、包装材料三足鼎立之态势。主要产品A级环保牛皮箱纸板、AA级环保高强度瓦楞原纸和新型环保纱管原纸，年生产能力达48万吨；为造纸及技术开发区供热配套有国内高温高压循环流化床锅炉及背压式汽轮发电机组，供热能力为130t/h和年发电量1.6亿千瓦时；同时年生产纸箱15000万平方米。
