2012年~2013年,为了使西江乳业建设成为广西农垦乳业集团公司,公司领导审时度势,先后投资800多万进行技术改造,建立了现代化的挤奶平台,完成牛舍道路改造工程和人畜饮水工程,着力改善饲养环境,改变饲养方式,优化牛群结构,建造空气净化灌装车间,增设全自动CIP清洗系统,新增每小时一万瓶玻璃瓶生产线。公司通过一系列的技术改造,班次生产牛奶达到50吨以上。

为原料供应,满足生产需求,公司与农场西江旭远现代农业有限公司合作种植500多亩玉米秆和台湾甜草,年可供喂养奶牛青饲料4000多吨。
