2008年4月，中国从事智能中空遮阳产品的企业——汉狮建材科技(广东)有限公司代表Alex Deng先生一行，跟随德国丝吉利娅(Siegenia)公司访问团到德国纽伦堡参观国际门窗遮阳展览(Nürnberg Messe GmbHFensterbau/Frontale)，展览会上与麦琴根德丽时认识，其后，展开了战略合作的谈判。

经过双方2年的共同努力，2010年4月，汉狮在德丽时帮助下，一起参加了该届纽伦堡国际门窗遮阳展览。展览会之后，双方进行了再深入更广泛的战略合作探讨。

2010年12月，汉狮建材科技(广东)有限公司代表Alex Deng先生等一行再次到访德丽时德国麦琴根总部，正式与德丽时签订长期合作协议，成为德丽时在亚洲地区单独的战略合作伙伴。

2011年1月，德丽时集团首席执行官Clemens Martin Lehmann回访广州，经过深入市场调研，终决定成立德丽时国际（广州）有限公司，全权营运德丽时集团在亚洲地区生产及销售业务。同期，麦琴根德丽时与汉狮(广东)联合投资人民币12,000万元，在广东省新兴县新成工业园投资打造亚洲区生产基地。

2011年6月，德丽时亚洲生产基地正式破土动工，预计在2012年全面建成投产，届时德丽时(中国)将拥有年产量超过100万平方米的现代化窗饰生产线，为全球家庭提供更多优质卓越的智能遮阳解决方案。
