公司前身是原兴宁市国营龙田水泥厂，有20多年的生产历史。2004年8月由民营企业家、法人曾宪东全资收购该厂，更名为兴宁市龙江建材实业有限公司。公司成立后，坚持走科技发展的道路，先后与广东工业大学、南京水泥研究院等大专院校建立产、学、研合作关系。
