夏士莲源于联合利华的另一个品牌Sunsilk,Sunsilk是全球最大的护发品牌,根据发质的不同有各种洗护和美发产品。夏士莲传承了Sunsilk的了解女性需求的精神,通过先进的护发技术,从自然界提取的多种生物活性因子,为不同类型的秀发提供保护。另外夏士莲系列还包括香皂等产品。

品牌由来

首创“夏士莲”译名的是文化界名人、出版界元老张元济。1916年前后,英国人柯尔在上海租界开了一家宝威药行,销售从英国运来的药物和化妆品,并在商务印书馆印刷宣传品和说明书。为扩大销售,柯尔请时任商务印书馆经理的张元济把英文商标“Hazeline”译成中文,张元济就把“Hazeline”译为“夏士莲”,并将“HazelineSnow”译为“夏士莲雪花膏”,这两个信、达、雅的译名就这么流传了近百年。

把“Hazeline”译为“夏士莲”,张元济不过是一时即兴之作,信手拈来。而其一生之为人,用“夏士莲”这3字来形容也正合适——士林中的一朵夏日莲花,品质高洁,人格高雅,出污泥而不染。

夏士莲洗发系列从1998年开始上市,最初有核桃仁、橄榄油和皂角3个品种。经过几年产品增加个升级,现在夏士莲洗发系列有6个洗发产品系列和4个护发系列。

Through advanced hair care technology, a variety of bioactive factors extracted from the nature provide protection for different types of hair. In addition, xiashilian series also includes soap and other products. The origin of the brand is the first translation of "Xia Shilian" by Zhang Yuanji, a celebrity in the cultural circle and a veteran in the publishing circle. Around 1916, Coll, an Englishman, opened a Baowei pharmacy in the Shanghai concession, selling drugs and cosmetics shipped from Britain, and printing promotional materials and instructions in the commercial press. In order to expand sales, coer asked Zhang Yuanji, then the manager of the Commercial Press, to translate the English trademark "Hazeline" into Chinese. Zhang Yuanji translated "Hazeline" into "xiashilian" and "hazelinesnow" into "xiashilian cream". These two translations of letter, DA and ya have been circulating for nearly a hundred years. When "Hazeline" is translated into "Xia Shilian", Zhang Yuanji is just an improvisational work and comes at his fingertips. It's just right to use the three words "Xia Shilian" to describe his life as a human being - a summer lotus in the scholar's forest, with high quality, elegant personality, and no pollution. Brand tenet: perfect solution to hair problems. Brand history: xiashilian shampoo series has been on the market since 1998, initially including walnut kernel, olive oil and soap horn. After several years of product upgrading, now xiashilian shampoo series has 6 shampoo product series and 4 hair care series.
