湖北新冶钢有限公司（简称新冶钢）是中国现存较早的钢铁企业之一，其前身大冶钢铁厂是清末汉冶萍煤铁厂矿有限公司的重要组成部分，具有悠久的历史。1948年定名为华中钢铁公司，1953年改称为大冶钢厂，1993年组建大冶特殊钢股份有限公司，1994年改制规范为冶钢集团有限公司，1997年大冶特钢A股在深交所上市，2004年香港中信泰富出资收购冶钢集团有限公司钢铁主业资产，组建湖北新冶钢有限公司。
