湖北顺溪生物食品股份有限公司成立于2003年9月，历经9年拼搏，固定资产从200万已上升到5500万元。企业法人曹约泽，大学文化，会计师、高级工程师，1976年参加工作，曾在本县供销社，县信用联社工作，担任过供销社主任，信用联社会计、科长、监事长等职务，2004年下海管理起本公司。在技术上与武汉大学、华中农业大学、湖北工业大学、湖北省农科院、维维集团等高校（院所）大型企业建立产学研合作关系。公司现有员工150人，其中：高级工程师5人，有标准生产设备230台套。

2004年8月，公司在湖北竹溪工业园区征地15800平方米，投入1800万元，新建了国际标准的豆制品新厂区，2006年11月投入生产，年吞吐黄豆1550吨，蚕豆850吨，小麦150吨，豌豆100吨，红辣椒300吨，生姜100吨，花椒50吨，青辣椒200吨，山野菜500吨。生产优质腐乳2500吨，豆瓣酱1200吨，晒干豆酱500吨，晒稀豆酱800吨，山野菜500吨等产品。

产品已销往十堰、武汉、北京、陕西、河南、重庆、四川、香港等地，公司正在与新加坡等客商商谈出口事宜，“顺溪”品牌已逐步被省内外的消费者所喜爱。
