公司于2010年正式与深圳市红筹投资有限公司、深圳市天玑星投资有限公司合作,计划总投资1亿元人民币,首期已投资2000万元,共同打造“猴坑”品牌,最终将猴坑公司实现包装上市。

太平猴魁创制于1900年前后,当时祖居猴坑的方南山、方先柜等方氏祖先采用传统的植茶方法和独特的制作工艺,在猴坑一带精心挑选又壮又嫩的茶叶制成,平扁挺直,两叶一芽的太平猴魁,其色香味俱佳,因其为尖茶之魁首,取其产地猴坑之“猴”字,遂命名为“太平猴魁”。
