广东美怡乐食品有限公司坐落于中山市岐江河畔,前身为中山粉厂,原为中山市国有企业,始建于1956年,占地面积101280平方米,是一家专业从事食品生产经营逾五十年历史的中型食品企业,2001年,公司转制为民营体制有限责任公司。公司现有员工六百多人,其中各种专业技术人员七十多人,主要产品有:“美怡乐”牌冷冻饮品系列产品,“荷花牌”水磨粘、糯米粉、淀粉系列。

公司一九八四年开始研制开发冰淇淋冷冻饮品系列产品,引进了意大利、德国、日本、奥地利等国的生产线及国内配套设施。经过二十多年的配套发展,特别是转制后投资近5000万元对冰淇淋的原有生产设备及运输、批发和零售的冷冻链进行了技术改造,使这间具有五十多年历史的老企业拥有较专业的技术和设备参与新一轮的市场竞争。目前,公司拥有5万吨的生产动力(水、电、汽)基础及3万吨的冰淇淋生产能力。公司开发出近100个畅销品种,产品遍及南中国各省区,拥有数百个经销商及数万个专营零售点,“美怡乐”已成为南中国家喻户晓的冷饮品牌。
