发展历史

优步最早是在2009年由特拉维斯·卡兰尼克（TravisKalanick）和格瑞特·坎普（GarrettCamp）成立，起初名为“UberCab”。优步在2010年6月正式于旧金山推出服务，同年8月莱恩·格雷夫斯（RyanGraves）就任首席执行官。格雷夫斯不久后离开首席执行官一职，并由卡兰尼克接任。格雷夫斯为营运副总裁和董事会成员。

优步的移动应用程序在2010年于旧金山地区推出，支持iOS和Android系统的智能型手机。

2016年8月1日，滴滴出行宣布与Uber全球达成战略协议，滴滴出行将收购优步中国的品牌、业务、数据等全部资产，在中国大陆运营。
