湖南裕湘食品有限公司是湖南粮食集团整合郴州市裕湘面业有限公司后成立的综合性食品加工企业。其前身郴州市裕湘面业有限公司始建于1988年，是一家以面粉、大米、红薯为主要原料加工生产、研发系列挂面、米粉、红薯粉、波纹面的“农业产业化国家重点龙头企业”，是全国首批农产品加工示范企业和营养强化食品试点生产单位，并被国家标委会推荐为方便粉国家标准起草单位。

1988年郴州市裕湘面条厂成立；

1998年3月正式注资成立“郴州市裕湘面业有限公司”；

2008年1月南方遭遇百年罕见特大冰雪灾害，公司遭受严重损失，多栋厂房、仓库、科研及营销中心相继被冰雪压垮，造成巨大经济损失并导致市场断货近半年，灾后，公司投入巨资重建近万平方米建筑面积的厂房及购买全新的生产设备，仅用半年就基本恢复生产，并迅速稳定了原有市场，同时，还开拓了北京等北方市场；
