创立于1981年美国,网络关键物理基础设施(NCPI)全线产品提供商,提供电力保护/物理IT基础设施/管理以及数据安全解决方案,2007年被施耐德电气收购。

1981年,美国麻省理工学院林肯实验室的三位电力工程师合力创办了APC公司,当时是专注于太阳能的研究与开发;1984年,APC公司注意到不间断电源市场的潜力,并且结合自身的技术优势,开始专门生产UPS产品,并推出了其不间断电源(UPS)750型。1988年7月,APC公司正式成为公开上市公司。股票发行代码为APCC。1998年APC在收购了大型UPS供应商Silcon公司后,完成了由原先的小型UPS领导厂商到“端到端”电源保护解决方案供应商的转变。

1981年,美国电力转换公司(American Power Conversion Corporation)成立,着力进行太阳能电力的研究和开发。 由麻省理工学院(MIT)的三位电力工程师组建的APC此后于1986年在罗得岛州开设了一座生产设施;公司还于当年生产了它的UPS,450AT+,该产品获得了《个人电脑杂志》(PC Magazine)的“编辑之选”奖。 1988年,APC股票上市交易。

Founded in 1981 in the United States, NCPI provides power protection / physical IT infrastructure / management and data security solutions, which was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2007. In 1981, three power engineers from Lincoln Laboratory of Massachusetts Institute of technology co founded APC company, which was focused on the research and development of solar energy; in 1984, APC company noticed the potential of UPS market, and combined with its own technical advantages, began to produce UPS products, and launched its ups 750 model. In July 1988, APC officially became a public company. The stock issue code is APCC. In 1998, APC acquired silcon, a large UPS supplier, and completed the transformation from a small ups leading manufacturer to an end-to-end power protection solution supplier. In 1981, the American Power Conversion Corporation was founded to focus on the research and development of solar power. APC, founded by three MIT Electrical Engineers, opened a production facility in Rhode Island in 1986, and produced its ups, 450at +, which won the PC Magazine's "editor's choice" award. Its integrated power, refrigeration, cabinet, management and service realize an open, adaptive and integrated solution, winning nearly 20 awards in the world. Travelpower with built-in device charging capability Gamma Case also achieved immediate success at launch. In 2004, the InfraStruxure product line expanded into refrigeration systems and online power generation. In the same year, APC won more than 100 awards in the world for its products and business performance. Based on the success of powertruxure since 2002, APC expanded its NCPI content after the acquisition of netbotz, which is a technology company in its infancy and solves the physical security problems of IT equipment. It enables APC to extend the professional strength of the industry into the category of management and security. On February 14, 2007, APC was acquired by Schneider Electric, a multinational enterprise in Europe known for its expertise in energy management and automation. This led to the establishment of the critical power & Cooling Services (CPCs) business unit, which now includes the APC and mgeups systems brands.
