功夫不负有心人,经过了一段时间的努力,餐厅的生意变得越来越好。可是1969年的某一天,灾难降临到了萨莉亚,一场大火摧毁了所有的东西。但是Shogaki先生并没有因为这件事而放弃,反而以此为契机,开始对世界各大餐饮进行研究,准备卷土重来。在众多菜系中,意大利的饮食文化深深地吸引着Shogaki先生。在对意大利餐饮进行了实地考察之后,发觉意大利的餐饮文化提倡平衡饮食、重视发挥原材料自身的美味、崇尚健康饮食,于是Shogaki先生最终选择了意大利菜。

当时说起意大利菜,大家会不约而同的把它和高级菜系联系在一起。Shogaki先生非常清楚的意识到这一观念严重影响了意大利饮食文化的推广。要大众接受意大利菜,首先就要解决人们长期以来对意大利菜的偏见。
