近年来，公司积极争取投资改造，“十五”期间先后投资8000多万元进行了钨合金生产线的大规模技术改造，重点引进了当前国内外先进的生产设备和检测设备，较大地提升了公司的生产能力、产品质量和市场开拓竞争力。
公司已形成了具有自主知识产权的“卫星”牌高密度钨合金和硬质合金两大系列产品，产品广泛应用于机械制造、地质矿山等领域，产品销往全国各地，并出口到美国、日本、以色列、新加坡等国家和地区。
