郑州科技学院座落于郑州市二七区马寨工业园区，交通便利，环境优雅，是民办普通本科高校。学院创办于1988年，2001年实施专科学历教育，2008年升格为本科高校，2012年取得学士学位授予权，2016年顺利通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，并在全省民办高校中实施双学位教育。建校二十九年来，为社会培养和输送了10万余名高素质应用型人才。

学院占地1500亩，建筑面积60万平方米，纸质图书180万册，电子图书60万种，教学科研仪器设备价值2亿元，学生社团66个。
