上海国际展览中心建成于1992年，位于上海虹桥经济技术开发区，1995年，上海国际展览中心有限公司（Intex Shanghai Co., Ltd.）成立，公司是由上海虹桥经济技术开发区联合发展有限公司、上海市国际贸易促进委员会及迪拜投资铁行地产公司，共同投资建立的上海引进国外管理模式和经验的展览场馆公司。公司是全国较早获得ISO9001认证的国际性展览馆。

场馆租赁

上海国际展览中心共两层楼面12，000平方米，配备有完善的统一的标识体系、各类大小会议室、多功能会议厅和VIP接待室，以及宽带网络、投影装置、广播音响设施、数字化监控设备，商务中心、中西餐厅、便利店等多种展览配套服务设施；中心地处的商圈繁华，与周边酒店、商务楼、休闲设施及便利的交通构成了一个成熟的会展商务区域。

上海国际展览中心每年接待展览会约50多个左右，以国际性、贸易类展览会为主。

凭借专业化的管理队伍及经营理念，2003 年，上海国际展览中心有限公司参与投资成立宁波国际会议展览中心管理有限公司，正式经营宁波国际会议展览中心，提供以ISO9001为核心的全套管理输出，成为中国成功进行展馆管理输出的公司。

2006年，接受郑州市政府委托，上海国际展览中心有限公司出资成立合资管理公司，经营管理郑州国际会展中心。

自办展览

自办展业务开创于1998年，凭借展览场地的优势以及与国内多个行业协会、贸促会、海内外展览公司等建立的良好合作关系，公司先后主承办过10多个展览会项目，近几年公司定期举办的自办展项目达到10个，并分别在行业中享有一定的声誉。
