早在20世纪50年代,利乐是较早为液态牛奶提供包装的公司之一。自此以后,它就成为世界上牛奶、果汁、饮料和许多其它产品包装系统的大型供货商之一。

1991年,利乐的生产延伸至液态食品加工设备、厂房工程及干酪生产设备。今天,它是世界上能够提供综合加工设备、包装和分销生产线,以及为液态食品生产厂提供设计方案的国际性公司。

利乐在全球共有57家销售公司,获许可经营的48家包装材料厂以及12家包装机器装配厂。公司拥有20261名员工,而2005年度的净销售收入约为81.07亿欧元。利乐的产品在超过165个市场上销售。在2005年,公司共生产了1208亿件包装,为全球消费者提供了644亿升的液态食品产品。

瑞典利乐公司在中国

成立于1951年的瑞典利乐公司早在1972年就进入中国市场。从中国改革开放到加入世界贸易组织,利乐一直信奉“与中国客户共同成长”的经营理念,不断将技术设备和完善的配套服务引进中国,积极推进生产服务的本地化进程,在中国液态食品包装领域发挥着重要的作用。

利乐在中国的大客户是伊利,起初只是一家小型乳品厂,主要服务于呼和浩特周边地区。该公司一直希望将质优价廉的本地乳品送往全国,特别是乳品发展迅速的华南地区,但是苦于没有一家适合长途运输的中国包装供应商。在利乐的帮助下,从呼和浩特运出并保存完好的奶产品在华南地区迅速打开局面。自1997年伊利向利乐购买灌装机,截至2002年底,利乐已经为伊利提供61条生产线。

利乐的客户包括伊利、光明、三元、蒙牛、娃哈哈、汇源等国内几大乳业及果汁饮料行业巨头,并在全国建立800多条生产线,只要这些生产线能保持稳定的生产,利乐就能源源不断地向它们提供利乐包装纸。而目前在这个行业里,盈利几乎都来自于卖包装纸。

目前利乐中国70%的生意都在乳品行业。仅2001年,伊利就生产了采用利乐包装的约20万吨超高温处理奶,一只250毫升的利乐包装盒,其市场价格在4角左右,利乐的盈利空间多大可想而知。

With the help of Tetra Pak, the well preserved milk products exported from Hohhot have opened up a new situation in South China. Since 1997, Yili has purchased filling machines from Tetra Pak. By the end of 2002, Tetra Pak has provided 61 production lines for Yili. Tetra Pak's customers include Yili, Guangming, Sanyuan, Mengniu, Wahaha, Huiyuan and other domestic dairy and juice beverage giants, and it has established more than 800 production lines in the country. As long as these production lines can maintain stable production, Tetra Pak continues to provide them with Tetra Pak packaging paper from energy sources. At present, in this industry, almost all the profits come from the sales of wrapping paper. At present, 70% of Tetra Pak's business in China is in the dairy industry.
