香港会议展览中心(会展中心)于1988年11月开幕。自此以后，香港的贸易展览事业蒸蒸日上，奠定香港成为亚洲区贸易活动中心的地位并成为举足轻重的国际会议举办地点。

会展管理公司拥有超过850名员工，透过提供一级的服务以及采用创新的操作技术，使会展中心成为亚洲展览及会议场馆，并以提供服务及举办蜚声国际的会议展览项目而闻名国际。

自会展中心开幕以来，使用率不断上升；扩建工程于1997年6月完成，主要场地总面积较前增加逾一倍。扩建后的会展中心令香港作为廿一世纪亚洲贸易活动中心的地位迈进一步。

因应会展中心现有及新客户对展览场地空间的需求，会展中心于2006年5月开展第二次扩建工程，并于2009年4月完成。扩建部份令会展中心增加 19,400平方米之额外展览面积。

会展中心现时的展览总面积为66,000平方米，多功能场地总面积为20,000平方米及辅助场地总面积为5,500平方米。

In response to the existing and new customers' demand for exhibition space, the exhibition center carried out the second expansion project in May 2006 and completed in April 2009. The expansion will increase the exhibition area by 19400 square meters. At present, the total exhibition area of the exhibition center is 66000 square meters, the total multifunctional area is 20000 square meters and the total auxiliary area is 5500 square meters.
