学科专业齐全
学院设有音乐学院、美术学院、戏剧学院、音乐教育学院、设计学院、艺术文化学院、舞蹈学院、戏曲学院及成人教育学院、职业教育学院、国际艺术交流学院、国际创意设计学院、现代技术教育部、公共课教学部14个教学单位。共有21个本科专业，涉及文学、管理学2个学科门类，包含艺术学、新闻传播学、公共管理学3个一级学科。目前，学院美术学、艺术学为省级重点学科，文化艺术管理学、文化产业研究为山东省文化艺术科学重点学科，音乐文化研究和文化产业研究分别被评定为省级社会科学规划重点研究基地、省级人文社科研究基地，音乐学学科被山东省批准为省“泰山学者”岗位。
学院具有艺术学硕士学位一级学科授予权，有8个硕士学位点。并成为全国首批“艺术硕士专业学位”（MFA）教育试点单位和同等学历在职人员申请硕士学位授予单位，已经形成了以本科教育为主，研究生、本科生、专科生、成教生、中专生多层次人才培养体系。

目前，学院拥有省级精品课程7门，国家级教学成果奖1项，省级教学成果奖6项。近四年，学院教师获得厅局级以上科研立项131项，其中国家级、省部级项目30项；获得厅局级以上各类科研成果奖284项。

建院50年来，为国家和社会培养了近2万名合格艺术人才。现有全日制在校本专科生7444人，其中本科生6448人。另有研究生401人。
