清华大学建筑设计研究院成立于1958年。依托于清华大学深厚广博的学术、科研和教学资源，并作为建筑学院、土水学院等院系教学、科研和实践相结合的基地。我院十分重视学术研究与科技成果的转化，规划设计水平在国内名列前茅。清华大学建筑设计研究院现有工程设计人员300余人，其中国家一级注册建筑师73名，一级注册结构工程师58名，高级专业技术人员占60%以上，人才密集、专业齐全、人员素质高、技术力量雄厚。

部门配置

院设有六个建筑工程设计所、四个由国家科学院和工程院院士以及国家设计大师带领的工作室、两个建筑专业所、BIM技术中心、文物与历史建筑保护设计研究所、绿色建筑工程设计所、工程咨询与建筑策划所、水利水电工程设计研究所、生态规划与绿色建筑设计研究所、工程设计文件审查所及三个联合研究中心，分别是与北京点石九八装饰设计有限责任公司成立的联合环境艺术设计研究中心，与惟邦环球建筑设计（北京）事务所成立的联合城市与营建研究中心，与泛道联合国际设计咨询（北京）有限公司成立的联合都市文化建筑研究中心。作为国内久负盛名的综合设计研究院之一，我院业务领域涵盖各类公共与民用建筑工程设计、城市设计、居住区规划与住宅设计、古建筑保护及复原、景观园林、室内设计、检测加固、前期可研和建筑策划研究以及工程咨询。

软件开发

科研方面，我院自主研发了TUS工程设计软件，并通过国家鉴定。学术方面，在2001年受全国注册建筑师管委会的委托，与建筑学院合作编篡完成了全国注册建筑师继续教育教材之三《建筑设计的生态策略》、之四《建筑设计与经济》。

国际交流
