作为首都医科大学第四临床医学院，医院承担着重要的教学任务。医院现有学位点28个，其中博士学位点13个。硕士生导师107人，博士生导师37人。拥有15个北京市住院医师培训基地。

Beijing Academy of Ophthalmology and Academy of Otolaryngology of Capital Medical University are located in the hospital. The hospital has the World Health Organization anti blindness cooperation center and the World Health Organization anti deafness cooperation center, with Beijing Tongren Eye Bank (member of international eye bank association). As the Fourth Clinical Medical College of Capital Medical University, the hospital undertakes an important teaching task. The hospital has 28 degree programs, including 13 doctoral programs. There are 107 tutors for master students and 37 tutors for doctoral students. It has 15 resident training bases in Beijing. Tongren Hospital has experienced more than 100 years of development and condensed the hospital spirit of "sincerity, diligence and harmony".
