一、医院基本情况

医院始建于1956年，2009年中央编办批复成立国家心血管病中心，正式形成“中心—医院”一体化格局。医院分为临床医疗区和预防研究区。临床医疗区（阜成门外院区)，总用地面积5.53万平方米，总建筑面积15.7万平方米；预防研究区（门头沟西山园区）总用地面积7.33万平方米，总建筑面积目前为3.7万平方米，未来将达到7.7万平方米。

医院设有41个病房，26个手术室（其中包含4个复合技术手术室），13个导管室，1521张编制床位数，实际开放床位数1238张（截止2017年12月31日）。在职员工3209人，院士6人，享受政府津贴77人，中高级职称专业技术人员1158人。同时，配备有血管造影机、双源CT、核磁共振、PET-CT等与世界接轨的医疗科研设备。
