发展历程

创业初始——20世纪30年代

中华制漆创立于1932年,当时国内一片动乱,各地军阀互相征战,国家和人民饱受着战乱的痛苦和迷茫,流离失所,在爱国华侨林堃先生的带领下,集资建厂,工业救国,从最原始的手工作坊开始,生产出品质稳定的菊花牌油漆。企业成立初期,虽然经营困难,盈利甚微,但仍不忘国家苦难,筹资捐赠军用物品支援前线。

创业之艰辛——20世纪40年代香港旺角

1946年,公司重组,成立中华制漆(一九四六)公司(后改为中华制漆(一九三二)有限公司),并创立长颈鹿品牌,开始生产木器涂料,其中的长颈鹿牌手扫漆更是畅销港澳及中国大陆近半个世纪。

发展的兴奋——20世纪60年代香港观塘

上世纪五六十年代,随着香港经济的腾飞,各行各业蓬勃发展,建筑、家庭装修、乃至玩具塑胶等工业品都需要大量油漆,中华制漆紧紧抓住机遇,为适应生产扩大之需求把厂房搬迁之香港观塘。“菊花牌乳胶漆,颜色就靓啦”,一曲菊花歌,唱遍整个香港,使得菊花品牌在香港家喻户晓,深入人心。在六七十年代的香港菊花牌的市场渗透率达到95%,时至今日,菊花牌仍然是香港漆业的第一品牌。

稳步拓展——20世纪80年代•香港西贡

随着中华制漆的不断壮大,1980年代把厂址搬迁到西贡。

中华制漆“玩具牌”诞生于70年代,于1987年注册“玩具牌”商标。80年代初期在业内率先引进“第一代原子吸收光谱仪(PhilipsPyeUnicamSP-9)”用于重金属检测,并开始承担美国和欧盟委托协助检验出口到其国家的产品,当时采用玩具漆出口到美国的产品接近是免检的,中华制漆的合格证在当时相当于权威检验机构的合格检验证书。
