戴月轩毛笔的制作技艺采用的方法是披柱法。披柱法就是先作成毛笔头中心的“笔柱”也称“笔胎”，然而再笔柱上覆上一层薄薄的披毛，把笔柱紧紧抱住，这种做法即为披柱法。
