“长昇源”，老号是位于山西平遥古城中心的一家三百多年的黄酒厂。建于明代崇祯（1626——1644）年间，初建字号为“聚昇源”，意为顾客盈门，1900年慈禧太后西逃路经平遥，饮了“长昇源”黄酒，膳食“长昇源”点心后，特赐一个“长”字，“聚昇源”遂改为“长昇源”。

1952年国家粮棉油统购统销，“长昇源”老店停业，1995年“长昇源”第六代传人郭怀仁先生恢复了“长昇源”，使享誉三晋的长昇源黄酒重新问世。

“长升源”黄酒原料为糯米，按照秘方并延用传统工艺进行纯手工酿制，酿出的黄酒甜、香、绵，风味独特，且有药用价值。
