长安银行是在陕西省委、省政府主导下，经中国银监会批准，引入延长集团、陕西煤业和陕西有色等11家战略投资者，以新设合并方式组建的法人股份制商业银行。总部设在西安市，2009年7月31日开业。现下辖10个分行、10个直属支行，开业网点213家（截至2016.12月），遍布省内10个设区市和杨凌示范区、西咸新区。员工总数近4000人。长安银行发起并控股设立陕西较早的村镇银行——陕西岐山长安村镇银行有限责任公司，陕西长银消费金融有限公司。
