保山古道春茶业有限公司于2011年10月21日登记注册，公司共有员工79人，聘请有资质的专业管理人员对本部门的人员和工作进行安排指导部署，其中：硕士研究生学历1名，大学本科15人，大学专科学历28人，其他学历35人。茶叶加工工程师8人，茶叶专业技术职称6人，茶艺师6人，财务初级职称3人，营销管理专业人员3人，初级技工14人。

公司的前身是保山市茶树良种场，承担全市的茶树良种引进、推广示范，自1987年成立以来，一直从事茶叶生产加工、茶树良种繁育推广，多年来积累了丰富的经验。现公司采用“公司+茶叶种植专业合作社+基地+茶农”的运作模式，集茶叶种植、加工、精包装与销售一条龙的生产企业；公司现有茶园基地6000亩，其中：公司自有茶园基地2000亩，茶叶种植专业合作社茶园基地4000亩（隆阳区西河茶叶种植专业合作社，成立于2011年10月，茶叶种植专业合作社现有社员157户）。公司辐射带动周边茶农5200多户，20700多人，带动茶园面积20000多亩。公司现有初制加工厂4个，初精合一厂一个。2013年被农业部认定为“国家标准茶园”，公司以休闲观光农业发展，初具“茶庄园”规模。2015年公司完成生产加工茶叶482吨，实现销售收入3900万元，实现净利润194万元，固定资产达1099万元，实现税收94万元。
