南阳纺织集团有限公司于2006年8月份顺利完成企业改制，由河南兴达投资有限公司整体收购成为新的民营企业。现有纱锭30万枚，织机2000台，固定资产10亿元；职工4500人；年产棉纱5.9万吨，棉布8187万米，年产值17亿余元，年销售收入17亿余元；产品涵盖纯棉、涤棉、粘棉、莫代尔、天丝、竹纤维、大豆蛋白纤维等多种纤维的普纺、精纺、混纺、紧密纺、赛络纺。产品畅销国内20多个省、市、自治区，远销香港、日本、欧美等20多个国家和地区。

企业改制后，新建20万锭新型纺纱项目，总投资6.8亿元人民币，全部采用国产设备，关键部件国外进口，自动化程度高，设备运行E系统自控，长车自动落纱，络筒工序全部自动化，检测手段精湛，大功率电器采用变频技术，照明全部采用LED光源，无锅炉，无排放；产品定位在40支以上全精梳紧密纺、紧密赛络纺针织纱。该项目起点高、设计好，具有全国企业水平。预计2015年5月份建成投产。建成后，年新增产棉纱30000吨，新增销售收入11.5亿元，新增利润8500万元，税金5500万元，税利1.4亿元。
