徽商银行是经中国银监会批准，由城市商业银行、城市信用社联合重组成立的区域性股份制商业银行，总部设在安徽省合肥市。1997年4月4日注册成立。2005年11月30日更名为徽商银行股份有限公司。2005年12月28日正式合并安徽省内芜湖、马鞍山、安庆、淮北、蚌埠5家城市商业银行，及六安、淮南、铜陵、阜阳科技、阜阳鑫鹰、阜阳银河、阜阳金达等7家城市信用社。2006年1月1日正式对外营业。2013年11月12日，徽商银行在香港联交所主板挂牌上市。徽商银行经安徽银监局批准持有机构编码为B0162H234010001的金融许可证，并经安徽省工商行政管理局批准领取注册证340000000026144号营业执照，注册地址为中国安徽省合肥市安庆路79号天徽大厦A座。截至2017年末，徽商银行注册资本约为人民币110.50亿元。
