孝感麻糖米酒有限责任公司是一家综合性食品加工企业,其前身是1954年建立的孝感县麻厂,1997年改造为湖北孝感麻糖米酒股份有限公司,2001年改制转民为孝感麻糖米酒有限责任公司。现已发展成为湖北省农业产业化重点龙头企业、全国绿色食品示范企业。2006年12月被国家商务部首批认定为“中华老字号”企业。2004年通过ISO9001国际质量管理体系认证。“孝感牌”、“神霖”商标连续多届被湖北省工商局认定为“湖北省著名商标”。2009年在孝感市经济开发区工业园占地100亩,投资8000万元,按GBP要求设计建成年生产麻糖2500吨、米酒20000吨、芝麻仁5000吨、特色系列糕点2000吨,目标年产值2亿元。

“孝感牌”孝感麻糖1981年荣获国家“银质奖”,湖北省名牌产品,湖北省消费者满意产品。清康熙三十五年《孝感县志》记载:“麻曰脂麻、可以为油、和糯炀以为糖,曰麻糖。处处有之,而孝感独著。”古诗云:“形似玉梳白似璧,薄如蝉翼甜如蜜,难得世上一佳品,传于后世莫走移。”

孝感米酒是具有千年历史的地方名特产品。神霖米酒2004年荣获湖北省名牌产品、湖北省消费者满意产品。神霖米酒白如玉液,清香袭人,香甜爽口,浓而不粘、稀而不流,食后生津暖胃、回味深长。早有“闻香下车吃米酒,滋醇香甜真可口,但凡过往孝感人,不尝米酒虚一游”之说。一九五八年,毛泽东主席亲临孝感视察工作时,品尝了孝感米酒,称赞“味好酒美”。
