青岛孚德鞋业有限公司始建于1933年，是一个具有80多年历史、有着浓厚文化底蕴的国有控股制鞋企业，现为中国皮革工业协会常务理事单位，山东省皮革工业协会副理事长单位。

1997年企业通过了ISO9000质量体系认证，2003年通过了ISO9001：2000版质量认证。

公司于2007年8月6日进驻青岛市城阳区空港工业园,工业园占地面积62亩，新建厂房1.6万平方米。工业园后续将实施二期工程，拟建包括技术研发中心大楼在内新厂房1万平方米。对位于青岛市繁华地段的老厂区，将充分利用青岛市中心区商贸楼宇经济的地理环境，拟筹建“孚鑫发展大厦”。该大厦拟建26层，约3万平方米。该大厦落成后，将成为北方皮鞋设计、科技研发、信息交流、鞋材贸易中心。
