洪湖市洪湖浪米业有限责任公司前身为前洪湖市米厂。2000年初,湖北粮食系统进行大力阔斧的改革改制。原国有粮食加工企业洪湖市米厂,在上级有关文件的要求下,主动出击,在全市国有粮食系统实行“企业改革改制,职工全员买断”的改革,通过出售洪湖市米厂的资产,实现了全员置换身份,买断工龄,将洪湖市米厂整体改制为民营企业,并于2000年5月,重新注册为民营的洪湖市食为天有限责任公司。

改革后公司实行技术、产品升级,积极开拓大米加工产业。制度创新带给公司崭新发展空间,公司当年就甩掉亏损多年的帽子,一举赢利80多万元。2003年,洪湖市油脂工贸公司面临停产困境,洪湖市粮食局党委再次把目光聚集到洪湖市食为天有限责任公司,希望公司能整体收购市油脂工贸公司。公司法人代表刘志祥个人筹资290多万元,整体收购了市油脂工贸公司,解决了拖欠职工买断金、养老金等改革遗留问题。2003年1月,公司重新注册更名为洪湖市洪湖浪米业有限责任公司,并迁入洪湖城区沿河路91号。

2006年5月,湖北省香港黄金招商周期间,在内地和香港同时上市的中兴通讯公司也参加了活动。那时中兴通讯公司准备发展生物能源新产业,在获悉了洪湖浪米业在夹缝中实现跨越发展,探索循环经济发展模式的历程后,侯为贵董事长亲赴洪湖,在对公司进行了实地考察之后,决定投资洪湖。

2006年年11月,洪湖浪米业与中兴通讯公司旗下的中兴发展公司正式合作,双方共同出资,成立中兴能源(湖北)有限公司。

目前公司是中兴能源(湖北)有限公司的全资子公司。以粮油生产、购销储存、精深加工为主营业务。下设粮食购销企业11家、收购站点30多个;日产150吨大米加工厂8家;日处理200吨油料加工厂3家;联营油脂加工厂2家和大米加工厂6家;仓库总库存面积50多万平方米。公司的粮食产业化经营,带动全市及周边地区40多万农户每年增加农民收入5亿多元。

In January 2003, the company was re registered and renamed as honghulang rice Co., Ltd. of Honghu City, and moved to No. 91 Yanhe Road, Honghu City. In May 2006, ZTE, which was listed in the mainland and Hong Kong at the same time, also participated in the event during the golden investment week in Hong Kong, Hubei Province. At that time, ZTE was ready to develop a new Bioenergy Industry. After learning that Honghu rice industry has achieved leapfrog development in the gap and explored the development mode of circular economy, Hou Weigui, chairman of the board of directors, went to Honghu in person and decided to invest in Honghu after a field visit to the company. In November 2006, honghulang rice industry and ZTE Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of ZTE, formally cooperated and jointly funded to establish ZTE energy (Hubei) Co., Ltd. At present, the company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZTE energy (Hubei) Co., Ltd. It mainly engages in grain and oil production, purchase, sale and storage, and intensive processing. There are 11 grain purchasing and selling enterprises, more than 30 purchasing sites, 8 rice processing plants with a daily output of 150 tons, 3 oil processing plants with a daily processing capacity of 200 tons, 2 oil processing plants and 6 rice processing plants under joint operation, and a total storage area of more than 500000 square meters. The company's grain industrialization has driven more than 400000 farmers in the city and surrounding areas to increase their income by more than 500 million yuan every year.
