嘉事堂药业股份有限公司为中国光大集团股份公司下属企业。

经共青团中央书记处批准，1997年团中央直属企业中国青年实业发展总公司联合中国青少年发展基金会等发起成立嘉事实业有限责任公司，1998年确定医药经营为主营业务，更名为嘉事堂药业有限责任公司，2003年有限责任公司整体改制为股份公司，名称变更为嘉事堂药业股份有限公司。公司现注册资本金25052万元。2010年8月18日公司在深圳证券交易所中小板上市，上市名称：嘉事堂，证券代号002462。

2018年1月，共青团中央和光大集团签署协议，约定中国青年实业发展总公司100%国有产权整体划转至光大集团。公司实际控制人由共青团中央变更为中国光大集团股份有限公司。其它主要股东有：海淀置业、中协宾馆、紫石资本、朝阳国资委、中央汇金等。

中国光大集团股份公司由财政部和汇金公司发起设立，持股比例分别为44.33%和55.67%。光大集团是横跨金融与实业、海内与海外，涵盖银行、证券、保险、基金、信托、期货、租赁、投资和环保新兴产业等实业的大型金融控股集团。光大集团党委书记、董事长李晓鹏指出，通过五到十年时间把嘉事堂打造成为国内特色医养产业运营商。

In January 2018, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and Everbright Group signed an agreement to transfer 100% of the state-owned property rights of China Youth Industrial Development Corporation to Everbright Group as a whole. The actual controller of the company was changed from the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to China Everbright Group Co., Ltd. Other major shareholders include: Haidian real estate, China Association Hotel, Zishi capital, Chaoyang SASAC, Central Huijin, etc. China Everbright Group Co., Ltd. was established by the Ministry of Finance and Huijin Company, with the shareholding ratio of 44.33% and 55.67% respectively. Everbright Group is a large-scale financial holding group across finance and industry, domestic and overseas, covering banks, securities, insurance, funds, trusts, futures, leasing, investment and environmental protection emerging industries. Li Xiaopeng, Secretary of the Party committee and chairman of Everbright Group, pointed out that in five to ten years, jiashitang has been built into a domestic characteristic medical and nursing industry operator.
