长丰集团有限责任公司前身为中国人民解放军第7319工厂，始建于1950年6月。1996年10月，经总后勤部批准由工厂制整体改制成为国有独资有限责任公司．2001年9月由军队整体移交湖南省人民政府，现隶属于湖南省国资委管理。
