Founded in 1979, the brand of fashion leisure home furnishings in Canada, the well-known home furnishing company umbra, which features original fashion design, was founded in 1979, with its headquarters in Toronto, Canada. Back then, designer Paul Rowan couldn't find the right curtains to decorate his apartment. So, he designed and made one by himself, but he was praised by his friends. As a result, he found his childhood partner Les Mandelbaum and founded umbra (Latin for "curtain"). Les and Paul started their entrepreneurial journey of fashion home. Today, umbra has become a world-wide recognized leader in the household products industry. Our internal design team integrates design elites from all over the world.
