从巴黎的一个小作坊开始...

在1880年，巴黎颜料商人MoiseHaguenauer成立了Seigneurie申纽丽漆公司。他将公司设立在巴黎，向建筑涂料商出售制做涂料所需得的原料：亚麻籽油，精油，白色底料和着色剂等。

这个家族企业于1911年搬到了潘廷，由创始人的儿子接管。

到国际舞台上的制造商

1919年，在业务受到战争影响而中断后，两兄弟开始经营他们的事业，并且作出了一个非常大胆的决定，制造和销售随时可用的涂料。他们从商人转变成制造商。公司不断发展，建立了车间和实验室来研究测试新配方。
