要研发一台可以在家具间自由组合并吸除微小尘粒的吸尘器不是件难事,但詹姆斯·戴森坚持认为戴森自动吸尘器DC06不应该仅能适当地完成清扫工作,而应当比人类还更具逻辑性地引导自己的工作。

研制这种有效、有条理的自动清扫程序共动用了3个星载计算机系统、50台感应设备,并花费了6万个小时。
