重庆机床（集团）有限责任公司前身为成立于1940年的中国汽车公司华西分厂，上世纪50年代被国家指定为中国十八家机床制造企业之一，史称“十八罗汉”，专业制造齿轮加工机床，先后试制成功滚齿机、剃齿机、插齿机、蜗轮母机。
