1983年,美育成立于台湾。从一间小小的音乐教室,发展成华人世界专业的儿童音乐教育品牌。 

徐亢绪、曾琤为美育品牌创办人,艺术教育家曾琤为教学总监。

目前,美育在台湾地区,全台专业教室近四十所;在香港地区,园中园六十余所;在中国大陆,更覆盖二十七个省市,专业教室超过两百所,目前已成华人世界专业的幼儿艺术教学中心及师资课程培训机构。每年有超过四十万个孩子使用美育音乐教材。

三十年来,美育不惜耗费心血与鉅资,开发原创音乐影音教材,为0~8岁的学龄前及适龄儿童打造了特有的音乐教学法,积极从事儿童音乐律动课程、0-3岁宝宝亲子课程、钢琴团体课程、创造性舞蹈课程、师资培训课程等,现有讲师、专任教师数百位。
