2005年，辽宁思凯开始推出物联网民用燃气表、水表和工业表，实现了民用及工业燃气表、水表的抄收。2011年进一步扩大物联网的服务内容，实现了多家银行实时储蓄燃气费、水费、语音短信催缴通知，收费交费等业务，为燃气公司、自来水公司和用户提供燃气、水、暖气从计量、抄收到收费的一体化技术方案。
