●1127年北宋迁都临安（杭州），史称南宋。大量御用瓷匠迁移。元《至正直记》里有“乙未（1355年）冬，在杭州市哥哥洞窑器看一香鼎，质细虽新，其色莹润如旧造，识者犹疑之。会荆溪王德翁亦云：近日哥窑绝类古官窑，不可不细辨也。”可见至晚自元末起，哥窑已被认定为宋代名窑，而且当作重要收藏对象。把哥窑列为宋代五大名窑，较早见于宣德年间的《宣德鼎彝谱》，该书有“内库所世故柴、汝、官、哥、钧、定”的记载。由于哥窑窑址至今还未找到确切公认的窑址，因此给它蒙上一层神秘的面纱。
