福建省海新集团有限公司创办于1985年，主营农牧、食品和投资三大产业，下辖十七家全资子公司和两所科研中心，占地面积70多万平方米，员工4000多人，集团总产值近25亿元。

三大产业中的海新农牧产业以饲料加工，产业覆盖原料物流、生物科技、饲料、种苗、养殖、肉食贸易和加工，产业基地主要分布在福建和广东两省，其中的饲料加工企业年产量达150万吨，是福建省较大的饲料生产基地之一。
