河北航空有限公司（以下简称河北航空）成立于2010年6月29日，是经中国民航局和河北省政府批准成立的现代化航空公司。2014年，厦门航空有限公司（以下简称厦航）对河北航空进行了战略重组，厦航持有河北航空99.47%的股权。

河北航空承运人代码为“NS”，企业标识以河北省简称“冀”的首字母“J”为原型，写意为一只振翅高飞的雄鹰翅膀，意为一只在蓝色天空和红色朝阳组成的广阔天地间自由翱翔的雄鹰，有“鹰击长空，翱翔万里”之意。

目前，河北航空机队拥有飞机20架，其中B737-800型飞机12架，B737-700型飞机2架，E190型飞机6架。公司成立以来先后开通航线百余条，在国内旅客吞吐量排行前20位的机场实现全部通航，初步构建了石家庄通往全国主要城市的干线网络和以石家庄机场为枢纽的省内外支线网络。
