据史料记载原介休洪山陶瓷厂始建于唐末宋初,距今有1200多年的历史,1956年公私合营命名为洪山陶瓷厂,2006年洪山窑址被认定为文物保护单位。企业拥有自营进出口权。其世代传承的制陶工艺和独具特色的釉料配方,使“洪山陶瓷”品牌在国内外享有较高的声誉。新一代细瓷器的上市,结束了山西没有细瓷的历史。企业生产的仿古多彩瓷、高级骨质瓷、工艺美术瓷,庄重端方、高级典雅,享有“质如玉、亮如镜、声如磬”的美誉,产品远销东南亚、欧洲、中东、非洲及北美等80多个国家和地区。
