丹泉酒业位于广西西北、云贵高原南麓，地处北纬25-29°、东经104-107°之间，这是一个浑然天成的自然名酒带，以云贵高原为中轴线，丹泉产地南丹县刚好与贵州仁怀对折重合，高度相仿的地貌与气候特征，形成了同样相似的酱香白酒酿造生态环境。

丹泉酒业前身是国营南丹县酒厂，创建于1956年。历经50多年的风雨，在丹泉集团“挖掘品牌优势，做强做大丹泉酒”的战略实施中，2003年经过改制和品牌资源整合，国营县级小酒厂在二十一世纪初实现嬗变：生产基地扩建后占地3000余亩，年产酱香8000吨、浓香10000吨、米香20000吨，以广西白酒较大规模、高品质的姿态现身白酒市场。

“一体三翼”的发展战略是丹泉品牌实力的表现，即以酱香为主体，兼香和浓香为侧翼，米香为尾翼的发展格局。丹泉共有四大香型四十款产品。

为实现产业增量提质，丹泉酒业实施“五大工程”：一是丹泉“中国酒洞”开发建设；二是建设丹泉名酒文化城；三是建设丹泉文化广场；四是建设丹泉生物工程科技园；五是建设丹泉包装仓储物流中心。目前“中国酒洞”已投入使用，藏有酱香基酒5万吨，其余四个在建项目将在两年内先后投入使用，为丹泉酒“走向全国”奠定雄厚的后备支撑。
